Balcony

Perhaps this is my most photographed view of Ottawa, yet not once posted on this space. Today marks the end of my first academic year in this city. It's time for a mega-post of all the somewhat-worthy shots captured during this journey, as I start writing my final exam to mark the end of my adventure as a 1st year medical student.

And sometimes it can look a little dramatic..

Looking outside towards the back side away from Riverside Drive is a building that I still don't exactly know what it is.. And here is a series from scattered clouds to layered blankets of clouds.. Which view looks the best?

And then sometimes nature gets all dramatic again.. This is one view I think I've never seen before.. isolated cloud snowing over a remote area? But with time, it resolved into post-storm stillness once again.. as if to tell us that there can be things to look forward to.

And then there is today, which totally just looks lazy.. :)

And there is one view that I never get tired of.. sunset and its beautiful hues.. reflecting on the river..

Simple Shots

Time to post old photos again. Lack of inspiration in Ottawa. Perhaps the Tulip Festival in full bloom will provide some fresh shots in this space.

A series of pictures taken with my compact camera once again, back in December 2007. Simple but not stunning. Might hold your attention briefly but won't take your breath away. Perhaps that's my way of life.
